Kyle of Tongue on the North Coast is a sheltered beach break. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds blow from the southwest with some shelter here from north winds. Surfable in an onshore breeze Tends to receive distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the northeast. Waves at the beach break both left and right. Good surf at all stages of the tide. A remote wave spot that never gets crowded.
