Sentinel in South Andaman is a sheltered reef break that has reasonably consistent surf. The surf tends to be best in the spring. Offshore winds are from the southeast. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. There is a right hand reef break. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Beware of coral, sharks,sea crocs.
