Oxford Rivermouth on the East Coast is a sheltered beach/sandbar break that has inconsistent surf. Winter is the best time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the west. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the ideal swell direction is from the northeast. The beach breaks offer left-handers. It's sometimes crowded here.
