Kennack Sands in South Cornwall is a sheltered beach break that has unreliable waves. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Ideal winds are from the northwest. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the south southwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded.
