The Gallows Surf Guide
The Gallows in the Margarets River Area is an exposed reef break that has fairly consistent surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Works best in offshore winds from the east. Clean groundswells prevail and the best swell direction is from the west. A left hand reef. Sometimes crowded. Hazards include urchins, rocks, locals, sharks and isolation.
