Strickland Bay in Rottnest Island is an exposed reef break that has very consistent surf. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the northeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the south southwest. Both left (best) and right reef breaks.. It's often crowded here. Beware of sharks and rocks.
