Sierra de Irta in Valencia is an exposed reef break that only works once in a while. Summer in particular tends to be flat. The best wind direction is from the northwest and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. The short fetch makes for windswells rather than groundswells and the ideal wave angle is from the east northeast. No reef break here. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Rarely crowded here. Take care of rips and rocks.
