Point Mugu in Ventura County is a reasonably exposed beach break that has pretty consitent surf and can work at any time of the year. The best wind direction is from the north northwest. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the ideal swell direction is from the southwest. Waves at the beach break both left and right. A fairly popluar wave that can sometimes get crowded Watch out for rips, man-made danger (buoys etc..) and locals.
