Pizo Surf Guide
Pizo in Madeira is a fairly exposed reef break that has unreliable waves. Autumn and winter are the best times of year for waves. The best wind direction is from the northeast. Waves just as likely from local windswells as from distant groundswells and the optimum swell angle is from the east northeast. There is no reef break. The location means that it never gets crowded. Watch out for rocks.
