Melnitza is a harbour wave in the heart of the town of Carevo. Deepwater channels surrounding the breakwater make the wave very fast and powerful, wave's shape holds pretty well too! The spot has pottential for 4+ meter ridable waves! (quite rarely though) Inside section is very dangerous on bigger days, rocky and closing out, with no channel, so one must watch it, closely. One of the best breaks in Bulgaria ! and pretty sheltered form the wind too ;) ... but won't get any merits for clean water and hazard free bottom though :) In big days...for experienced surfers only !
