Marina di Carrara Surf Guide
Marina di Carrara in West Coast of Italy is an exposed beach break that only works when conditions are just right. Winter is the optimum time of year for surfing here. The best wind direction is from the north northeast with some shelter here from southeast winds. Windswells are much more typical than groudswells and the ideal wave direction is from the southwest. Waves at the beach break both left and right as well as a left hand reef break. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Rocks are a hazard.
