La Arena Surf Guide
La Arena in Pais Vasco is a quite exposed beach break that has reasonably consistent surf. Autumn and winter are the best times of year for waves. Works best in offshore winds from the south southeast. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the northwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Sometimes crowded. Watch out for dangerous rips.
