Culdaff Surf Guide
Culdaff in Donegal is a fairly exposed beach break that has dependable surf, although summer tends to be mostly flat. Offshore winds are from the southwest and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the best swell direction is from the north. Waves at the beach are both lefts and rights. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. Even when the surf is up, crowds are unknown. Rocks are a hazard.
