Coopers Beach Surf Guide
Coopers Beach in Northland is a sheltered beach break that only works once in a while. Summer in particular tends to be flat. Offshore winds are from the south southeast with some shelter here from southeast winds. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the optimum swell angle is from the north northeast. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. A remote wave spot that never gets crowded. Try not to swallow any water - there are pollution concerns here.
