Best at high tide and on a small-swell; say shoulder high to just overhead. It's often much too big. Long lefts when working. As the tide drops, paddle to the middle of the Bay for lefts and rights breaking 200m or more from the shore. Other options abound but none of them gives shelter from a NW wind.
