Alassio Surf Guide
Alassio in West Coast of Italy is an exposed beach break that has inconsistent surf. Winter is the favoured time of year for surfing here. Offshore winds are from the northwest and there is no shelter here from cross shore breezes. The short fetch makes for windswells rather than groundswells and the ideal wave angle is from the south. The beach breaks offer lefts and rights. The quality of the surf isn't affected by the tide. When it's working here, it can get crowded.
