Seignosse - Les Casernes Surf Stats

The figure describes the range of swells directed at Seignosse - Les Casernes through an average August. It is based on 3582 NWW3 model predictions since 2006 (values every 3 hours). The wave model does not forecast wind and surf right at the shore so we have chosen the best grid node based on what we know about Seignosse - Les Casernes. In the case of Seignosse - Les Casernes, the best grid node is 31 km away (19 miles). The rose diagram shows the distribution of swell sizes and swell direction, while the graph at the bottom shows the same thing without direction information. Five colours show increasing wave sizes.
