Tula in Tutuila is an exposed reef break that only works when conditions are just right. Summer offers the best conditions for surfing. Offshore winds are from the northwest. Groundswells more frequent than windswells and the ideal swell angle is from the northeast. Both left and right reef breaks. Best around high tide when the tide is rising. It very rarely gets crowded here. Watch out for coral and sharks.
