Secret in Nias, Hinako Islands is an exposed reef break that has consistent surf. May-Oct (Dry Season) is the best time of year for waves. Works best in offshore winds from the east northeast. Most of the surf here comes from groundswells and the ideal swell angle is from the southwest. A reef breaks left. It very rarely gets crowded here. Submerged rocks are a hazard.
