Saint Girons in Acquitaine is an exposed beach break that has consistent surf and can work at any time of the year. The best wind direction is from the east. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the ideal swell direction is from the west. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves. Good surf at all stages of the tide. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Beware of nudists.
