PKs in Kauai is an exposed reef break that has fairly consistent surf. Summer offers the best conditions for surfing. Offshore winds are from the north northeast. Tends to receive a mix of groundswells and windswells and the best swell direction is from the south. The reef provides both left and right breaks. Surfable at all stages of the tide. It's sometimes crowded here. Take care of urchins, rips and rocks.
