Cob Cottage in Dunedin is an exposed reef break that has reasonably consistent surf Works best in offshore winds from the west northwest. Windswells and groundswells in equal measure and the optimum swell angle is from the south. Both left and right reef breaks. Unlikely to be too crowded, even when the surf is up. Hazards include sharks/rips.
